The idea

Torah does not simply fill a room.
It changes the life around it.

Torah Shelaima places vibrant, rigorous learning at the heart of communities, then lets its warmth travel outward: from scholar to student, father to son, friend to friend.

Our story

One kollel.
A community.
A movement.

Rabbi Michoel Ghermezian began with accomplished talmidei chachamim and a vision of Torah scholarship that would strengthen the life around it.

012015

One beis medrash in Monsey.

Rabbi Michoel Ghermezian founded an elite kollel by inviting accomplished talmidei chachamim from renowned yeshivos in Eretz Yisroel.

02The widening circle

Learning moved closer to people.

Kollelim, nightly shiurim, mentorship, and outreach took root in Roslyn, Paramus, New City, Haverstraw, and communities across the region.

03Today

The beis medrash became a network.

Twelve kollelim now anchor a wider world of community learning, mentorship, youth programs, outreach, and safrus.

Leadership & vision

Build the scholar.
Strengthen the community.

Rabbi Michoel Ghermezian founded Torah Shelaima around a simple, demanding idea: place accomplished talmidei chachamim at the center, support learning of the highest caliber, and let that Torah illuminate everything around it.
